Pre-K, Assistant Teacher
Jasmine Garcia grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Hunter College. She took many interesting Psychology courses such as Child Development and Social Psychology, and also had the ability to pursue courses in Theater and Music for children. During her college years, she spent her time tutoring children and volunteering at an elementary school.
After receiving her Bachelors degree, Jasmine began working as a substitute teacher. During this time, she had the opportunity to explore grades Pre-K through 5th grade and developed a passion for teaching. While there, she learned teaching strategies, lesson planning and classroom management skills. She enjoys working with young children and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve both academically and socially.
Jasmine is excited to join MUSE Academy where she can utilize her teaching skills and explore her passion for education.
