Samantha Grace Lewis
Lead Pre-K Teacher
Sam's classroom learning environment promotes creativity, collaboration, and a sense of community.
She is influenced by the writings of John Dewey, Lev Vygotsky and the philosophy of the Reggio Emilia Schools. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Urban Studies from the The New School University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed) focused in Early Childhood and Art Education.
She has extensive experience working in varied educational settings, including public and private K-12 schools, museums, nature and environmental education centers, and community organizations. Sam is passionate about teaching, learning and encouraging young children to be curious, respectful and lifelong learners.
She is excited to be a part of the MUSE Academy's community of children, families and colleagues.
